Gary Sullivan

Gary Sullivan 01-rsGary is a qualified teacher and draws upon his 20 years of classroom skills to apply them to deliver his fun financial literacy sessions. A physical educator at heart he has strong interest in all sports having coached 1st XV rugby and played cricket to semi professional level. Gary has lived and worked in Auckland over the last 10 years now calling it home with his Wife, Hayley, and his two West Highland terriers for company.

Jeremy Curry

Our Wellington-born, Samoan-proud, Auckland based Primary and Secondary school facilitator, Jeremy Curry, comes from a varied background in Hospitality, Sales/Account Management, Radio broadcasting with Niu FM & Youth Worker before finding his way to ASB GetWise. Jeremy has a real passion and affinity for youth education and for providing the keys to students having success with their finances and looking towards a positive future. Having been in Auckland for 20 years, he is finally calling it home (but still supports the Hurricanes!) with his wife Kath and daughter Leila.



Amie Kerr

Amie Kerr 03-rsAmie was born and raised in South Canterbury. She has a financial services and administration background. Having achieved a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Graduate diploma (Management) at the University of Canterbury, Amie is passionate about the psychology of learning and behaviour change and is excited to be delivering the ASB GetWise programme. Amie loves connecting with students and helping them to create new beliefs about their ability to be cash clever as well as providing them with practical, relevant concepts they can implement in their lives immediately.



Callum Braithwaite

Callum is a University of Waikato graduate having studied English and Theatre. Spending a lot of his time onstage either acting in musicals, or doing improvisational theatre, means that being up in front of classrooms full of kids is a job that never feels like work for him. Meanwhile filling his workshops with comedy and learning has everyone wanting to Get Wise!



Vanepale Sopoaga

IMG_1029cAn award-winning performer and cultural dancer, Porirua-born Vane has traveled extensively, representing New Zealand culture in many countries around the world, as well as at home, in our own Te Papa museum.

With a passion for performance, and a Bachelors Degree in Applied Arts, charismatic Vane has appeared in a lead role on prime time television and released his own album. Having developed a deep passion for teaching, led this energetic performing artist to work as a youth worker and mentor for youth in the Wellington region. Highly motivated and with the belief that he can make a difference Vane now applies the same energy and drive to improving the financial literacy of New Zealand students.
